Anniversary – Amarula Solutions Czech Republic

We interviewed Michael Nazzareno Trimarchi, CEO in Prague, to find out more about who he is and what Amarula Solutions Czech Republic does. Below is the summary of the interview:

The creation of the office in Prague stems from a business opportunity with Wincor Nixdorf on an innovative Android-based payment terminal. Our business focuses on any area of Embedded Systems: Linux Terminal Security, Payment API, Payment Devices, Android Mobile Application and IoS, DevOps, Android OS Middleware.

I approached the Open Source world mainly with Linux products. The types of projects that excite me the most are: Payment terminal maintenance, Alcosystem monitoring system, Voip applications, remote control applications, Android home automation terminals and video surveillance systems. I would still like to know about Deep Learning, Bluetooth Connectivity, Android Applications running on industrial products, Android bsp, Linux bsp.

I love to cook in my free time and to talk to my parents. I would like to see all the people who work at Amarula Solutions happy every day.

Anniversary Amarula Solutions Italy

We interviewed Alberto Panizzo, President of the Treviso office, to find out more about who Amarula Solutions Italy is and what he does. Below is the summary of the interview:

We decided to create Amarula Solutions Italy because much of the business at that time was run by Italian clients. We focus on home automation, medical devices, industrial / rugged devices and gym appliances.

I approached the Open Source world thanks to the University of Padua, which provided me with a very demanding project as a thesis work. The types of projects that excite me the most are those that aim to solve human needs. I would still like to learn how to become more of a driver and less of an engine.

My personal passion is Triathlon, the swimming-bike-running combination is fantastic. In 5 years I see Amarula Solutions Italia with a team of 10-20 members.
