Jenkins Training Content
Base developer course will fulfill the following topics:
- Jenkins and its role in CI/CD
- Explain basic terminology and concepts
- Show how to create and configure pipelines
- Show how to configure Gerrit Trigger
- Explain basics for writing Pipeline scripts
- Show how to debug and test Pipeline scripts
If you choose to continue with the admin extension we will discuss the following:
- Explain how to work with Jenkins Nodes
- Show how to configure Jenkins Credentials or Shared Libraries
- More topics on your needs.
How long is the Training
The base course has a duration of 4 hours. Admin extension will be adapted to customer needs. The two courses will be held on separate days.
Language
The course is given in English or Italian.
The training material is in English in all cases.
Pre-Requisite
No prior knowledge about Jenkins or other systems is needed.
Basic programming knowledge helps in understanding the Pipeline scripts.
