Gerrit Training Course Content
Base developer course will fulfill the following topics:
- Gerrit and its role in CI/CD
- Explain basic terminology and concepts
- Working with Gerrit
- Pushing for review
- Review process
- Adjust commit
- Merging approved commits
If you choose to continue with the admin extension we will discuss the following:
- Setting up Gerrit workflow
- Define permissions
- Customize submit conditions
- Set up replication
How long is the Training
The base course has a duration of 4 hours. Admin extension has a duration of another 4 hours. The two courses will be held on separate days.
Language
The course is given in English or Italian.
The training material is in English in all cases.
Pre-Requisite
No prior knowledge about Gerrit is needed. It is required to be familiar with the basic use of Git.
More advanced Git knowledge is highly recommended to fully understand how Gerrit works and how to use it.
